How long does it take you to edit?
My promise is to return your photos fully edited within 3 weeks of your photoshoot date.
Do you do mini sessions?
Currently, I am not running any mini sessions. Follow my social media pages to stay updated on upcoming minis!
Do you take photos in all weather climates?
I will do outdoor photoshoots year round! I love capturing Wisconsin's beauty in all four seasons. I will reschedule outdoor photoshoots during excessive rain, snow, or cold temperatures.
Do you have a studio?
At this time I do not have my own studio space. I do, however, have travel studio equipment that I can bring to the comfort of your own home. I also have the option to rent photography studio spaces to utilize for photoshoots in the Madison area.
What is your most popular photoshoot location?
Epic Systems campus in Verona, WI. I have done many photoshoots here, and never get tired of it! There's so much variety in landscapes and buildings, so it's always something different every time you visit. Another popular location is Pheasant Branch Convservancy in Middleton, WI. It's perfect for people wanting natural or outdoorsy photos.
What is the best time of day for an outdoor photoshoot?
I schedule most of my outdoor sessions for "golden hour." This optimal lighting occurs about one hour before sunset. Therefore, the start time of the session will depend on the time of year.
Should parents come to a senior session?
This is completely up to you! Sometimes parents come and sometimes they don't. Sometimes they like to get really involved by making their senior laugh, and sometimes they just wander closely by. All parents and seniors are different, so whatever makes you all feel comfortable is best.
Can I bring any props?
Yes! If you have something that you think would make for a great photo, please bring it! Many seniors like to bring props to display their interests. For example, a musical instrument or sports equipment.
Will my shoes be in the pictures?
Yes! I like to take a mixture of close-up shots and ones from farther away. A lot of poses will involve your full body. Please wear shoes that you would like to be shown in photographs.
Where can I change during an outfit change?
This depends on the photoshoot location. Sometimes parks or downtown locations will have public restrooms that we can utilize. Many times clients change in their vehicle. Having layers that are easy to change will be best in these scenarios.
