Congratulations! Senior year is here!

My favorite part of senior photography is creating unique portraits based on individual style and taste.

It's already here, that last year of school before either you or your child are officially an adult. It's the end of one giant chapter and the beginning of an even bigger one. Maybe the next years after high school are already planned, and maybe they're not. Either way, senior year of high school is a period of time that nobody forgets. So much time has led up to this moment, and so many personalities and interests have begun to blossom.
Most schools require photos for the yearbook by November, so make sure to give yourself enough time to submit them. The summer and early fall months are the most popular time for senior portraits, however I will shoot any time of year! I'm currently booking for the class of 2026. Some ideas for your senior session:

Every senior is a completely different person, so why would they all have the same photo to represent them? Each high school senior needs to have photos that show off their personalities and tastes.
My goal is to find the perfect location to accent their personal style of the time. Some seniors prefer outdoorsy vibes at a park, and some want a more urban feel. Madison, WI and the surrounding areas of Fitchburg, Monona, Verona, Sun Prairie, Middleton, Cottage Grove, and Waunakee all have so many beautiful locations and hidden gems that I promise you won't get the same senior photos as your friends. My most popular photoshoot locations are Epic, Pheasant Branch Conservancy, and the UW Madison campus. Whether you want to go to one of those places or find something new, I work with each of my clients to find the exact spot that you are envisioning for your photos. Just let me know what inspires YOU!
In addition, some of my favorite photoshoots include a senior's hobby or interest. I love when seniors tell me they want to bring an instrument or dress up in their sport's uniform. It's such a fun way to incorporate your personality into the photoshoot. I also help my clients through the session with posing to create images that feel natural and reflect who they really are.
Senior portraits are the MOST popular sessions that I do. When you hire me, you can rest assured knowing that you are hiring somebody with lots of experience working with seniors. The number one thing I hear back from my clients is how much fun they had during our photoshoot and how comfortable I made them feel. During your session, I will make you feel like a model!
