It's crazy how fast our little ones change and develop new interests or create funny new behaviors. After my son's first birthday, it felt like he suddenly learned 1,000 new things overnight, from walking to talking and everything in between! My camera didn't go away, but my memory card continued to fill up! Before that, it felt like every month I needed updated photos of him to capture all his firsts - first Halloween, first Christmas, first Valentine's Day!
