Those first two weeks of your little one's life can feel like a complete blur. I remember feeling completely out of it and like I had just been hit by a truck after my son was born. Yet, there was this sweet little seven pound creature who needed me for everything, and mostly just wanted to feel the familiarity of my touch. Now, I feel like I barely remember what those precious moments were like. Instead I have this crazy toddler running around, screaming, and figuring out how to get into everything!
One way to preserve those sweet little moments forever - is through a photograph.
After you've just given birth, unfortunately there is way too much asked of you. You have to host guests that want to meet the baby, go to a million doctor appointments, try to rest and recover, maintain your home and possibly care for older siblings, all while learning how to care for this new little addition to your life. The last errand you want to add on top of all that is bundling up your newborn baby for a car ride to a studio across town for some photographs!
That's why I bring the studio to you!
Little Dragan Photography takes care of all the hassle and worry of the photo session, so you can relax and just enjoy the moment! We agree on a date and time after your little one is born, and I will show up at your door with my studio setup. I travel to anywhere in the Madison, WI area, including Sun Prairie, Fitchburg, Verona, Cottage Grove, Middleton, Monona, and anywhere in between! While I set everything up, you can make sure baby is ready to go by getting them fed and changed. Through the session I will keep baby calm through a few different wrapping techniques, and will always go slow. The baby is in charge here!
If you'd rather get out of the house - that's cool too! Let's rent one of the beautiful studio spaces in Madison to take your photos. Many of them are decorated to look like homes, and they have beautiful lighting to get the best images possible.
Before the session, we will consult together so that I have a sense of your style and wishes for the photos. Depending on which of my packages you choose, I will get a mixture of naturallly posed and candid documentary style images of your family, and ones of the baby posed on my newborn bean bag and with props.
Each session is unique so that your images will truly reflect you and your family!
