I'm so excited to be hosting Christmas mini sessions this year in Rio, WI!
This year I will be utilizing a beautiful Christmas scene displayed at Full Circle Studio in Rio, WI. My Christmas minis will be held on December 7, 2024 between 12-4 p.m. Time slots are 20 minutes long, and you will receive 20 edited digital images in an online gallery. You will also receive full printing rights.
practice before the big day
Before the big day arrives, I took some self portraits in the studio of myself and my family. It was fun spending time together and thinking of different ways to utilize the space. Fortunately, the studio has a lot of different props and items to use in the photos.
We started with pictures of my three year old son. He was super excited to sit in the toddler sized rocking chair and ride around on the tricycle.
His favorite was all the wooden vehicles
I loved these aesthetic wooden toys they have at the studio. My son was too happy to be playing with them, making it super easy to get some adorable shots. It looked as though it was really Christmas morning and he just found these toys under the tree.
Time for mom and dad to join
In order to get the full idea of what a Christmas mini with me would look like for my clients, I had to have some photos of the three of us. Plus, I love the way these came out and am excited that I now have these wonderful family photos! The props didn't end with the wooden toys. The studio even has some gift props for kids to open in front of the camera. Before opening, they can shake the box and hear a jingle. I wonder what it could be? We soon found out when our son popped the top off the box. Jingle bells!
Multiple seating options are available
For our next photos we decided to use a cream colored sofa. I felt like it created the feeling that this is our living room at home and we are just snuggled up on the couch together. There are more options to utilize, however. Not only is there a child size rocking chair, but an adult sized one too! There's also a large wooden bench that would be perfect for bigger groups.
Little Blue Truck's Christmas
Lastly, there were a few Christmas stories we could read. I love how my son snuggled up on my lap and listened intently to the story as I read it. It looks like it's Christmas Eve and we're about to go to bed before Santa arrives with all his presents.
That's not even everything
The studio has even more items to interact with than what we used! I'm excited to have different families in the studio and create unique moments for each of them. Kids of all ages would have fun and pets are even welcome! My son said he had a lot of fun and he couldn't wait to see the pictures we took!
